Located directly on Los Muertos Beach in Puerto Vallarta, sits the Hotel Emperador Beachfront Hotel & Suites. During MexiDad’s stay in Puerto Vallarta in July of 2022, this was his hotel of choice. The price point, as well as the location, were the driving factors in the decision to stay there.
The hotel itself has 20 standard rooms, 20 standard suites, and 10 junior suites. All the rooms have A/C (essential in Puerto Vallarta in the summer) along with 32″ flat screen televisions and electronic door locks.
The hotel does NOT have a restaurant but utilizes the services of Si Senor restaurant downstairs. Guests are offered a 10% discount when purchasing a minimum of 300 pesos. We were told they offer room service but didn’t have a chance to verify it.
While the location is right on the beach adjacent to the pier, this can have some drawbacks as well in terms of noise. However, that being said, the sound of the waves from the ocean crashing off the beach at night, a great view of the evening fireworks, and proximity to Zona Romantica make it one of MexiDad’s favorites in Puerto Vallarta.
